The Beijing Gas Group
(BGG) Tianjin Nangang LNG Emergency Reserve Project has officially become fully
operational as of November 25, with the completion of its Phase III facilities.
This phase includes two 220,000-cubic-meter LNG tanks, boosting the project’s
total storage capacity to over 1BCM.
The project, with a
total investment of RMB 20 billion since its inception in March 2020, includes
a 500 Mtpa LNG terminal, ten storage tanks, regasification facilities with 60
mcm/d capacity, and a 217-kilometer transmission pipeline.
