port via ship-to-ship LNG transfers on March 25, becoming the first

The Hai
Yang Shi You 301, originally built as an LNG gas carrier in 2015 by Jiangnan
Shipyard in China, has been converted into the world’s largest LNG bunker
vessel for CNOOC. The vessel, with a fuelling capacity of 1,650 m3 of LNG per
hour, will service a variety of large vessels, marking a significant step in
marine LNG bunkering operations.
Currently,
international shipping giants have set carbon reduction targets and more and
more transport ships are powered by LNG green and clean fuel around the world.
According to market sources, LNG will dominate the green transformation of the
shipping industry. The number of LNG-powered ships worldwide may exceed 4,000
in 2030, indicating that the demand for green and clean fuel refueling will
continue to rise.
