According to PipeChina, the West-East Gas Pipeline (WEP) has delivered more than 65 bcm of natural gas to Shanghai and 550 bcm of natural gas to the Yangtze River Delta region.

During the 14^th Five-Year Plan period, PipeChina has built and put into operation natural gas pipelines such as the Qingning Pipeline and the Jiangsu-Anhui Pipeline in the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding areas, with a total mileage of over 2,200 kilometers, further strengthening the Yangtze River Delta region’s closely connected and efficiently coordinated natural gas energy arteries.

During the 15^th Five-Year Plan period, PipeChina will also plan and build more than 3,200 kilometers of natural gas pipelines such as the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline II, Jiangsu-Anhui-Henan Pipeline, and Wen 23-Anqing in the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding areas, providing a more solid energy guarantee for the integrated and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
