CNOOC and SHPGX
plan to unite small buyers for LNG cargo joint buying, according to the notice on
the SHPGX’s website on April 12. Buyers who have been carriers of PipeChina interested
in participating in the joint procurement need to register with SHPGX. And the detailed is
as follows:

The move aims to serve small buyers
and provide them more options. The SHPGX is actively promoting the innovation
of natural gas trade services in order to better serve LNG trading enterprises
at home and abroad, and to further boost the fair access to natural gas
infrastructures.
Earlier in Dec 2020, CNOOC concluded
the first international LNG group purchasing trade with 12 LNG buyers via the SHPGX.
A total of 29 companies applied for the group buying trade, with 25 being
qualified and 12 finally winning the bid.
