Feedstock: The palm
oil market dropped before went up this week, and the price of stearic acid inched
down. As of November 27, the negotiation price of first-grade stearic acid was
RMB 10,700/mt, down RMB 250/mt from last week.
Supply-demand: Feedstock
prices declined, lending less support to the AKD market. The trading atmosphere
in the AKD market was tepid and there were few transactions at high prices.
Price: As of November
27, AKD1840 market prices closed at RMB 17,500-18,200/mt in East China,
averaging RMB 17,750/mt, down RMB 100/mt from last week.
Forecast: Producers should
pay attention to the feedstock price trend and users’ procurements in the
coming period.
