Evolution of Chinese Independent Refineries

China’s independent refineries have developed more than 50 years by now. Before 2015, the refineries didn’t have sufficient supply of crude oil. This was the biggest factor that limited the refineries. But now, Beijing approves some independent refineries to process imported crude oil and to import crude oil. Accordingly, Chinese independent refineries are developing at a fast speed, especially Shandong independent refineries. Shandong independent refineries are playing an important role in China’s oil refining industry.
